Welcome to the School

Welcome parents, clients, and community members. My name is Barbara Branas, and I am honored to serve as the Development Director at the Marian Center. There is not a day that passes that I do not feel grateful and fulfilled to be part of a mission dedicated to supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities. I am deeply thankful to the Sisters for giving me the opportunity to serve this extraordinary community.

What I Specialize in

As Development Director, I am responsible for advancing the Marian Center’s philanthropic efforts and long-term financial sustainability. My work includes developing fundraising strategies, cultivating meaningful donor relationships, overseeing grant opportunities, and helping ensure the continued growth and success of our mission and programs.

More About Me

I am a proud mother of two children whom I love with all my heart. I graduated from FIU with a degree in Communications. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, traveling, and reading — all of which inspire my passion for connecting with others and sharing meaningful stories.
