Four students with the Marian Center School and Services were awarded plaques for participating in a recent essay contest sponsored annually by the archdiocese’s Office of Black Catholic Ministry. The topic was “How the Venerable Pierre Toussaint Can Be a Model of Holiness and Service for Us.” Showing their plaques, left to right, are Andres Mahy, Sulfredo Bellot, Wuiner Joseph and Wilson Donaher.
